Corn and Multi-fuel Stoves
The American Harvest will burn corn, wood and grass pellets - the key to this ability is the agitator. The stainless steel agitator mashes hard ash that forms with corn and grass pellets - giving up to 12 hours of continuous burning.
Corn
Corn is often less expensive than wood pellets, and has less dust when you load your stove. Corn is widely available in rural areas - most seed & feed stores sell corn. Corn is higher in ash and forms hard ash or clinkers that need more firebox cleaning than wood pellets.
Grass Pellets
Although most fuel pellets are currently made from wood they can also be made from fast growing switchgrass. Pellets made from grass are the ideal renewable energy crop, since switchgrass grows on marginal farmland. The energy payback on pellet fuel is up to 14:1. For every one unit of energy used to grow, harvest and pelletize the grass, 14 units of heat energy are produced.

A NEW Digital Control Board with built-in diagnostics and LED readouts make testing, startup, and operation a breeze with just a touch of a button.
